Meet Our Doctor
Dr. Emanuel Kontos
Dr. Kontos was born and raised in beautiful Tarpon Springs, Florida. An experience at the age of 12 introduced him to an interest in dentistry. After tooth pain, a root canal, and a crown, he realized that he was fascinated with the art of dentistry. The subsequent years allowed him to work toward his dream of becoming a dentist.
To start, Dr. Kontos attended the University of South Florida where he studied courses in chemical engineering and biomedical engineering. He went on to receive his Bachelors in Science in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences. Next, he received a Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University. After years of careful studying and tremendous hard work, he graduated at the top of his class and was elected into the National Dental Honor Society (OKU).
A gentle hand, a wonderful chairside manner, and an eye for aesthetic perfection has brought Dr. Kontos to the top of his field. He continues to hone his skills in the art of dentistry while learning from the best instructors in the world. Since he believes in the power of continued learning, Dr. Kontos has completed advanced level training from Stupp Postgraduate School of Dentistry, The Dawson Center, Pikos Implant Institute, and The Kois Center. He also believes in helping the next generation of dentists by acting as a mentor for other dentists seeking advanced education and peer learning.
